A survey conducted by the Institute of Logistics and Supply Chain (ILOS) reveals that 52% of companies in Brazil expect an increase in transportation prices by 2026. Furthermore, 22% of companies believe that storage costs will also increase, while 13% anticipate a rise in inventory values.
The ILOS study also indicated that logistics costs in Brazil represent a value equivalent to 15,5% of Brazil's GDP (Gross Domestic Product) in 2025, but that the price of road freight transport in Brazil decreased by 1% year-on-year.
