ILOS provided consultancy for a global packaging company serving the entire Brazilian territory.
The company was struggling with its ability to achieve agreed SLAs and needed to improve its service level to increase its market share.
Through a broad diagnosis, the main offenders of the On Time In Full (OTIF) indicator were identified and a holistic action plan was drawn up to restructure processes that covered several areas. The delivery included an implementation playbook detailing responsible parties, actions and deadlines to help the company capture all expected benefits.
The ILOS recommendations were almost fully implemented and the results included an estimated 8 pp increase in the OTIF indicator and a 90% reduction in WAPE, the forecast error indicator used in the company. Qualitative benefits were also captured, such as improved management and communication and reduced risks and vulnerabilities.
