the second day of International Forum Supply Chain & Expo.Logística had the Post Office closing the schedule presenting the logistical challenges they have been facing in e-commerce operations. Regional manager of wholesale clients, Marcelo Matos, together with logistics analyst Ezio Costa, explained the company's new commercial policy, with portfolio reorganization and greater focus on client needs. Among the innovations is the Correios Log + service, aimed at small accounts and which promises a reduction of up to 47% in previously estimated costs.
This Wednesday's program began with Belgian consultants, Pascal Janssens and Lionel Van Reet, from PWC, presenting the advantages of the Flanders region in accessing the European market. Located 500 km from 60% of the continent's consumer market, Flanders also promises tax advantages and legal stability for those who intend to expand their operations abroad. Finally, Janssens and Van Reet brought five scenarios to explain the different options that Brazilian companies can take advantage of to start their journey in Belgium.
Among the various lectures on the agenda, the day also featured the participation of a professor at the Technical University of Berlin, Juliana Campos, who explained the benefits of partnerships as a strategy for business differentiation and competitiveness. Juliana spoke of the close relationship that exists in Germany between universities and industries and emphasized that the world is in an era of sharing resources and co-creating solutions. Finally, she also presented the result of her project with the German university to diagnose current sustainability practices in the supply chain of Brazilian and German companies and identify opportunities for possible collaborations between companies in both countries.
