Logistics costs in Brazil reached R$1,96 trillion in 2025, equivalent to 15,5% of the national Gross Domestic Product (GDP), according to the annual study "Logistics Costs and their Impact on Brazilian Companies," prepared by the Institute of Logistics and Supply Chain (ILOS).
There was a slight decrease compared to the 15,6% of 2024, but the level is considered unsatisfactory for a country with Brazilian characteristics. In 2014, for example, these expenses represented 10,4% of GDP, which demonstrates a considerable increase for companies in the sector.
