According to a survey conducted by the consulting firm ILOS, logistics costs in Brazil represent 15,5% of the country's GDP (Gross Domestic Product), almost double the level in the United States where costs are 8,8%.
The comparison between the two countries also reveals that, in Brazil, 9% of these expenses are related to transportation, 5% to inventory, 1,1% to storage, and 0,6% to administrative costs.
