Logistics costs in Brazil are projected to reach 15,5% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2025, according to a survey by the Institute of Logistics and Supply Chain (Ilos). This percentage represents a significant increase compared to 2014, when these expenses accounted for 10,4% of the national economy.

The study "Logistics Costs and their Impact on Brazilian Companies," conducted by the institution for over two decades, indicates that the pressure on sector spending is directly linked to a lack of investment in infrastructure, a high interest rate environment, and increased inventory expenses.
