With great growth in the last two decades, the logistics area has gained great importance, forcing companies to increase their investments in training and qualification of their executives.
In the survey “Profile of the Logistics Executive”, carried out annually since 2005 during the International Supply Chain Forum, in Rio de Janeiro, it can be seen that, over the last 10 years, companies have been concerned with the training of their employees, conducting training internally (66% of the companies) and/or with external support (86% of the companies).

Logistics Costs and Supply Chain Management were the most sought after topics in the period to complement training in administration or engineering, predominant among professionals in the area (76%).
Another interesting data shows the increasing importance of logistics in organizations. When the participants were asked, in the 2005 edition, what position the main logistics executive occupied in their companies, none of them answered President or Vice President. In the 2015 survey, these positions already represented 28% of the responses.
