Large global consumer goods player integrates new brand with support from ILOS
A major global consumer goods player, after acquiring a healthy food brand with a reduced shelf life, found it difficult to meet the shelf life defined by customers, needing to revisit processes and prioritize brands throughout its logistics network.
The project carried out by ILOS included a complete mapping of all stages of the order cycle, from the frequency of contact between sales managers and customers, to the moment of product delivery. Despite the focus on the newly acquired brand, analyses of the company's other brands were also included, allowing a view of the intersections throughout the cycle.
Among the recommendations made, ILOS suggested the use of a customer segmentation matrix to define service formats, the review of production policies, changes in cargo allocation rules, the alteration of logistics flows to reduce the total time to the final point, in addition to negotiating deadlines with some customers.
Based on the project with ILOS, the client was able to efficiently integrate the new brand, revisiting customer service logistics, production policies, service network and transportation and storage operations.
