A large company in the oil and gas sector, with operations throughout the national territory, faced challenges related to the increase in demand and its product portfolio, in a reality of low standardization of processes. The order cycle time could be up to 20 days.
To address these issues, ILOS conducted a detailed mapping and diagnostic of the operation, which identified 10 major opportunities for process improvements. Recommendations were then specified and a new order flow was designed. To assist with implementation, ILOS also developed a playbook detailing the schedule, actions and monitoring indicators.
As a result of the ILOS recommendations, a potential reduction in the order cycle by up to 13 days and a reduction in the cost of demurrage by R$1 million per year was calculated.
