ILOS assists metalworking company in comparing freight costs paid versus ANTT Minimum Freight Rates.
Faced with a sharp increase in fines issued by the ANTT (National Agency for Land Transport) regarding the National Policy on Minimum Freight Rates for Road Transport in Brazil, a large company in the metallurgical sector hired ILOS to diagnose the exposure of its operations. The objective of the project carried out by ILOS was to identify the risk of fines, calculate the financial impact of possible ANTT penalties, and identify routes with inadequate freight prices compared to the current minimum rate.
Acting quickly and with a specialized team, ILOS analyzed all of the client's operational routes in just a few weeks, identifying and quantifying the total impact on the company and indicating the operations that most needed adjustments.
In addition to the diagnosis, ILOS identified the main solutions for adjusting operational compliance. In this case, renegotiating freight operations and adjusting empty return transport would be sufficient to significantly mitigate the impact.
ILOS specializes in freight price analysis and transportation operations, analyzing each operation individually and working with companies to implement necessary changes.
