Freight transportation costs are expected to increase in 2026. At least, that's the assessment of the majority (52%) of companies surveyed by ILOS, a consulting firm specializing in logistics. In addition to transportation, the storage of goods and products is also expected to become more expensive, according to 22% of firms in the country. Currently, the economic sectors most impacted by logistics costs are construction materials, oil and gas, hygiene, cleaning and cosmetics, and food and beverages, with expenses representing 14%, 13%, 10%, and 9%, respectively, of the net revenue of companies in each sector.
