There is no doubt that Brazilian industries are more demanding when hiring their logistics partners. The need to reduce costs and offer a certain level of service makes companies demand creativity from logistics operators to try to reach the magic formula of maximum service level at minimum price.
Although the Holy Grail of logistics has not been found, Brazilian logistics operators seem to please the national market. In the recent survey we carried out with the largest shippers in Brazil in terms of revenue, the country's logistics operators received a good average score of 8,3, maintaining a pattern repeated since 2013.
The most interesting thing is that this recognition comes mainly from the customers themselves. More than 80% of the professionals interviewed considered one of the logistics operators they worked with as the best in Brazil, and the average score given by them was 8,4, higher than the general average.
Being appointed by the customer as the best in the country is a great recognition of your work, but the celebration must be done sparingly. The economic crisis leads companies to constantly review costs, and competition is fierce, with large players offering great services. In other words: logistics operators, take good care of your customers and keep investing in new solutions. As for shippers, the message is: are you dissatisfied with your operator? Look to the side. The market offers good solutions!
