The Consórcio Infraestrutura Brasil, from Grupo Pátria, associated with the Sovereign Fund of Singapore (one of the five largest funds in the world), just won, this Wednesday (8), the largest highway concession in Brazil carried out in a single lot, with 1.273 km of roads. The premium was 7209,25% on the stretch that connects the cities of Piracicaba and Panorama, in São Paulo, with an investment forecast of R$ 14 billion for the next 30 years, the period of the concession.
The opening of the proposals took place at the headquarters of B3, in the capital of São Paulo, and also counted on the Ecorodovias group, which, like Pátria, also partnered with international investors, in this case, Chinese. These two movements left behind the market's expectation that there would be no participation of international bidders and encourage the federal and state governments of São Paulo for the next concessions that are to come in Brazil.
This is Grupo Pátria's third highway concession, all in the state of São Paulo. In its first concession, in 2017, the Group started to manage Entrevias, in the Midwest of São Paulo. At the end of 2019, Pátria announced the acquisition of Cart, responsible for the Raposo Tavares Highway.
