According to a survey by Ilos, a consulting firm specializing in logistics and supply chain, highways accounted for 62,7% of ton-kilometers (TKU) transported last year. This figure has changed little since 2014, when it stood at 66,7%, says Paulo Resende, director of the logistics center at Fundação Dom Cabral.
