After almost 6 months, prices for a barrel of Brent oil have once again risen above the level of US$90/barrel, and the expectation is that further problems in the global supply of the commodity may arise. Furthermore, in the last week, the exchange rate of the dollar against the Real once again exceeded R$5, making imports of fuel and crude oil more expensive.
