Cidade will promote an event that discusses trends and best practices in Logistics and Supply Chain with the presence of international speakers, multinational companies and industry experts. The event expects to bring together around 1.200 industry professionals.
From October 14th to 16th, ILOS holds the most traditional and highly regarded Logistics and Supply Chain event in Brazil: the XX International Supply Chain Forum & Expo.Logística 2014. The 20th edition brings together the CEOs and Directors of global companies such as Coca-Cola, Cola Company, Unilever, Basf, Carrefour, Fiat, Asics and Merck, in addition to researchers and keynote speakers of the main American universities: Arkansas University, University of Tennessee, North Carolina University, Wayne University, among others confirmed.
Over three days, there will be almost 60 sessions divided into Mega-Sessions, General Sessions, Cases, Tutorials, Workshops and commercial sessions. It is worth mentioning that this year's program has three thematic tracks, which include trends, debate panels and best practices with specialists in their segments. On the first day, the thematic track explores the challenges and opportunities related to “Logistics Infrastructure in Brazil”. On the second day, the focus is on aspects related to the “Demand Driven” concept in the Automotive sector. Finally, on the third day, the thematic track deals with the quest for “Innovation through collaboration with suppliers” and its effects on the Supply Chain.
For César Lavalle, Director of International Relations at ILOS, the 2014th Supply Chain & Expo.Logística Forum XNUMX is characterized by its “global and strategic content and the dissemination of best market practices”. While the exhibition that integrates the event, Expo.Logística, is a “space primarily dedicated to networking, among the audience present and interaction with suppliers of products and solutions in the sector, being a fundamental part of the event as a whole.” In this 15th edition of Expo.Logística, ILOS innovates by including the option of “commercial lectures”, in which exhibitors can also elaborate specific content about their products and services for the public present at the event, among forum participants and visitors to the exhibition.
The event will also host the traditional award ceremony of the ILOS Award – The Best Logistics Service Providers in Brazil, in its 14th edition, which recognizes the 10 logistics service providers that most stood out in the Brazilian market, chosen by 300 professionals working in the largest industries in the country.
