O XX International Supply Chain Forum and Expo.Logística, carried out by ILOS, will bring together from October 14th to 16th international specialists and the CEOs of national and multinational companies to discuss the topics that are at the top of the agendas of executives and managers in Logistics.
In this twentieth edition, the Forum will feature tracks themes, which deal with three central axes for debate: “Demand Driven in the Automotive Sector”, “Logistics Infrastructure in Brazil” and “Innovation Through Collaboration with Suppliers”. Each of these themes will be presented in the “Mega-sessions”, which bring together renowned panelists, in addition to cases and tutorials from organizations that have implemented the best practices and stood out in their sectors.
According to César Lavalle, ILOS International Relations Director, the Mega-sessions deal with emerging issues in greater depth, bringing together experts for an enriching exchange of experiences at a global level, in panel discussions.
Mega-session 1: Current Overview of Logistics Infrastructure in Brazil
It will discuss how the Logistics Infrastructure can be a competitive factor for Brazil to position itself in the local and global markets. Moderated by Maurício Lima, this panel will also count on the presence of Dalmo Marchetti (BNDES), Richard Klien (Multiterminais), Cláudio R. Frischtak (Inter B.), Mona Haddad (World Bank), Remco Overwater (Dinalog – Dutch Institute of Advanced Logistics).
Mega-session 2: Advanced Demand-Driven Supply Chains – Automotive Sector Perspectives
It focuses on the challenge of synchronizing the Supply Chain and final consumer demand. Under the eyes of experts, the strategies, practices and processes of the automotive industry, which has innovated in Supply Chain management, will be discussed. Moderated by Paulo Mendes (Demand Driven specialist), it will also feature John Taylor (Wayne University) and executives from Sintel, Pirelli and Fiat.
Mega-session 3: Pursuing Innovation through Supplier Collaboration
Differentiation as a critical factor for business is the theme of this mega-session, which brings together researchers on the one hand and industry executives on the other, to discuss how companies and suppliers can be more competitive in the market through collaboration. Moderated by Ataíde Braga (ILOS), this panel will also receive Mônica Costa (Natura) and Seref Alptekin (Unilever Latin America).
